São Paulo, Brazil - At least 61 people were killed when a passenger plane crashed on the outskirts of Brazil's largest city, São Paulo, on Friday.
The VoePass Flight 2283, carrying 57 passengers and four crew members, was on its final approach to Guarulhos International Airport when it crashed into a residential neighborhood in the city of Guarulhos, just north of São Paulo.
The aircraft, an Embraer EMB-190, was operating a scheduled two-hour flight from Cascavel Airport in the southern Brazilian state of Paraná. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
